The Porcupine Mountains Music Festival is a not-for-profit project made possible in part by sponsorships. If you would like to be a festival sponsor for 2008, please contact email@example.com.
The PMCVB coordinates lodging requests for the festival and has contributed significant promotional support to the festival. Call 906-884-2047 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find a room or cottage during the festival.
The Friends of the Porkies is the non-profit organization which is putting on this festival. The Friends of the Porkies represents the interests of the users of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. The Friends Of The Porkies seeks to provide a platform for ideas to improve the park, and to help it provide the best year-round recreational opportunities for all. The Friends work to employ all available resources to accomplish these goals.
Several of our musicians will be presenting educational sessions during the festival thanks to a grant from Arts Midwest.
This festival is made possible in part by a minigrant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs administered through the Copper Country Community Arts Council.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources administers the beautiful Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in which the festival will take place.
