Smoking and Campfires are currently banned on the festival grounds and everywhere in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park by order of the Governor of Michigan. There is an extreme fire danger due to the ongoing draught. A forest fire has already broken out this week in a remote area of the park. You may smoke in your car during the festival but not anywhere on festival grounds. - 23 August 2007
